Bamboo Pavilion

Koshirakura, Japan

AA Visiting School which involved a 1:1 construct in rural Japan. The collaborative work of 5 required social communication with locals, material gathering from local sources [e.g. bamboo], development of dry joinery and time management skills. The pavilion was designed for a cultural festival held at the village.
