"Shatwell Farm is part of the Hadspaden estate owned by Neil Hobhouse, as the client sold a share of the land in order to develop, in collaboration with an international entity, a high-end resort-hotel in that stretches across the land. This while having a detached development geared towards entertainment and the arts located in Shatwell Farm, with an intent to display the Drawing Matter Collection."
The Project envisions a mixed used exhibition, recreational and multi-media space that allows for the collection to be put to use for visitors and students alike.
My efforts lie in designing a space that is scaled to the surrounding landscape, flexible in its usage trough-out the year, in order to function for large scale events to small lectures according to the needs of the client, while also fulfilling his wish for a possible summer-school.
